Loan Loss Mitigation Officer


Job Description Summary

The Loan Loss Mitigation Officer is responsible for managing the collection of past due residential loan products through the use of effective loss mitigation tools and techniques in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations and Bank lending policies and procedures. The position requires assertive and effective personal, telephone, and written communication skills; direct interaction with residential loan customers, realtors, GSE/government agency staff, and Bank loan personnel; and investor and private mortgage insurance (PMI) practices for the purpose of reducing delinquency and potential losses in the Bank’s residential loan portfolio.
