About the Speakers: Barry Thomspon is a financial institution professional who has held the titles of Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Treasurer, Compliance Officer and Security Officer over the course of a twenty-two year banking career. He is a Security Practitioner, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, Public Speaker and Managing Partner of the Thompson Consulting Group.

The Thompson Consulting Group is the security provider for America's Community Bankers, "Retail Banking, Operations, Technology & Security Management Conference". They provide board retreats, executive retreats, special research projects, community programs, facility inspections and reviews of security or compliance programs.

Barry is an international speaker, trainer, consultant and writer who contributes to Bankers' Hotline and; he is also a special advisor to Bankers' Hotline. He is a security and compliance "guru" for and organizes security conferences for trade groups.

Barry is recognized as a speaker worldwide, presenting in Brussels, Belgium to European bankers on internal fraud; at the United Nations on identity theft; and to Japanese bankers on bank security. Barry has worked in the financial services industry for over three decades, and has held the positions of security officer, compliance officer, treasurer, senior vice president, and executive vice president. He has handled over 900 security cases and has been involved with investigations and prosecutions at federal, state and local levels.

Steve Stasiukonis, Secure Network Technologies, Inc. With over 15 years in the security industry, Steve's background in information security began as co-founder of Network Audit Systems, an information security practice and security software development company. In 1999 he sold the company to Armor Holdings (NYSE:AH) a private military company providing Technology Risk Management and Security Services. In 2002 he founded Secure Network Technologies, focusing on Penetration Testing, Information Security Risk Assessments, Incident Response and Digital Investigations. Steve carries numerous security certifications by various organizations as well as the National Security Agency. Steve also serves as a columnist for Information Week magazine and, with articles syndicated across the globe to numerous media outlets.
